The archaeologic site from Basarabi is digged into a lithological generated hill, consisting of chalks and chalky marnes, where Senonian occurs continuously over the Baremiene limestone from the valley Carasu flank, or over the Aptiene gravels. In this article, I discuss the category of time in light of heritage preservation. Although change is central to the conservation theory, it is also a concept that raises the greatest doubts and ambiguous interpretations.
