PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION BETWEEN DENTIST AND DENTAL TECHNICIAN IN THE CASE OF ANALYSING THE METAL FRAME IN FIXED MIXED PROSTHESES. CLINICAL AND TECHNICAL EVIDENCE OF ANALYTICAL MARKERS

(STEF92 Technology, 2019, L. E. Moldoveanu)

In the clinical and technical stages for the manufacture of fixed mixed prostheses, the metal frame analysis represents a relevant process. The professional communication among the main professional actors is a technical act of horizontal communication supported by the theoretical notions of both partners and exemplified strictly on the working model / dental abutment and metallic frame. The study material is the analysis of a number of 50 metallic elements representing the metal structure of fixed mixed prosthesi...

THE DENTAL IMPRESSION IN FIXED PROSTHETICS. PRESENT AND FUTURE TRENDS.

(STEF92 Technology, 2018, L. E. Moldoveanu)

The dental impression plays a very important role during the clinical and technical stages of prosthetic restoration. Impressing the prosthetic field can cause errors in producing the prosthetic item. The dental impression represents the negative copy of the prosthetic field that will generate the positive copy, respectively the working model/cast. If the assessor, the dentist and / or the dental technician, cannot notice these errors in a timely manner, the prosthetic piece is intended for failure. The objectives...

HISTOMETRICAL STUDY OF THE MODIFICATIONS THAT OCCURS AT THE LEVEL OF THE GINGIVAL MUCOSA INDUCED BY DIFFERENT FIXED PROSTHESIS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017, L. E. Moldoveanu)

Biocompatibility of denture base materials is a key problem in modern dentistry. Different dental alloys induce different biological and structural modifications over the gingival mucosa. The aim of our study was to determine the structural modifications over the gingival mucosa induced by dental materials using the morphometrical analysis. Our study was based on 24 gingival mucosa biopsies analyzed using the classical histological method followed by morphometrical analysis using Lucia G 4.7 software. The software...

ORO-DENTAL HEALTH: POTENTIAL TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES IN CAST METAL FRAMEWORKS OF FIXED PARTIAL DENTURES

(STEF92 Technology, 2015, L. E. Moldoveanu, M. Duta)

Introduction: Preoccupations for oro-dental health are a constant practice of the Romanian healthcare system, as oral diseases are getting higher prevalence and alter the individual's quality of life. The potential technical difficulties found in fixed partial denture technology are a reality, being a fact of observation, not a pretext for theoretical discussions. Their occurrence is always a particularly difficult moment, being mostly noticeable by their detection rather than by the impossibility to remedy them. ...
