Aim: The aim of this study was to determine whether there exist differences in preferences of work values between female-physician and male-physicians. Methodology: The presented research was carried out at the turn of 2012 and 2013 in 25 randomly selected hospitals throughout the Czech Republic. The research set included a random sample of physicians working in hospitals in the Czech Republic (n = 738; female-physician = 367 (49.7%), male-physician = 371 (50.3%).
