The focus of this article is on adolescents’ internet usage. Researchers’ attention is usually attracted either by internet risks and harms to adolescents, or by the use of internet as a new education technology, or tool. At the same time methodology is deemed by the author as insufficient and the approaches to the internet – which should be viewed as an environmental equivalent – are inadequate.
