In Slovakia people traditionally devote a lot of time to perform unpaid work in their homes. The paper focused onto examination whether all activities which could be done through the unpaid work of households members are doing themselves, or whether households are replacing at least part of these activities by paid work of the third party, i.e. whether there is a demand for such kind of goods and services.
