This study aims to explore the profile of female entrepreneurs and to examine their entrepreneurial behaviour. A sample of 40 female entrepreneurs from the North-East Region of Romania was surveyed in order to identify their socio-demographic characteristics, main features of their businesses, as well as their ways of approaching business.
