Abstract

Didactic competence, operationalized in the educational process, it means much more than a "technique" of carrying out the training tasks or the indispensable information for their fulfilment; It is the result of the teacherВ’s abilities, skills and attitudes, in direct correspondence with the nature and complexity of the instructive-educational objectives, with the exercise of all the didactic abilities, throughout the teacher's socio-professional behavior. In essence, both at European and national level, it is stressed the teaching careersВ’ professionalization, meaning that the need of providing to the teachers a clear and standardized professional path that ensures their professional training at the highest level of efficiency. The transformation of didactic competence into desirable behaviors is dependent of the value to which the teacher adheres and according to which the teacher guides itself in his career. Reflected in active behaviors, the teacher's competence is involved in the training and educational process, in the management and organization of the learning process, in the training and development of the pupils' personality. That is why the efficiency of education is in direct relationship with the displayed didactic competence. The positive results and the efficiency of these active behaviors are also the fundamental indicators for the correct evaluation of the teaching staffВ’s activity [1].
