DIFFICULTIES IN LYRICS TRANSLATION SAMPLING "LORELEI" BY HEINRICH HEINE
Abstract
It is difficult to translate the poem by Heinrich Heine "Lorelei" due to its special intonation and fine sense. Despite of this, many translators nowadays have tried their hand to deliver all the beauty of this poem to the Russian language. The actuality of this work is in the fact that a lot of attention in linguistics is paid to stylistic means which open up the poems, and many translators are interested in complete translation of stylistically painted devices in their works. The aim of this work is to identify the stylistic features of the poem and their reflection in Russian translations. Achieving this goal involves the following tasks. 1.Analysis of the poem. 2.Identification of stylistic devices in the original poem. The object of research is the stylistic means taken from "Lorelei" H. Heine for detailed analysis (3 sample translations). The subject of study is stylistic means of language taken in general. We use the following research methods: the method of linguistic observation and description, contextual analysis, and comparative method.
