THE FAMILY BACKGROUND AND THE POLITICS OF EDUCATION IN ROMANIA IN THE CONTEXT OF RELIGIOUS PEDAGOGY RIGHT ACCREDITATION

Abstract

The educational system in Romania has known many transformations in the last 25 years of democracy. The orientation towards the European values, to multiculturalism, and also the liberalization of the work market, all in all let to a reevaluation of the domestic values and traditions. Family is one of the most important paradigms of establishment in this period of transition in the Romanian society. Without this important segment of our social existence the institutions implicated in the politics of education could remain since one of the most important partners in the process of formation and social integration of the young people. In the last years the democratic exercise in Romania amounted to a rebalancing of the rapport between the traditional and cultural values received on the paternal line in the family background. It was also a great opening towards European alternative. This interaction especially visible in the cultural and pedagogic institutions makes possible the reception of democracy and European values through the prism of our personal values which are related by our religious identity. Therefore, the religious education system from Romania, which is constitutional guaranteed and accredited through the general will of the people, define the traditional paradigm in the context of complementarity between the cultural and traditional values and the openness through the process of reception the European cultural values. In this context, we find also very important the elements of interaction between Christian life and the commune principles from EU.
