GROUP CONSULTANCY IN CARDIOLOGICAL PREVENTION

Abstract

Research and studies of literature focused on prevention of cardiovascular diseases and didactic approach in education have led our project team to develop a program for group preventive activities. The program is aimed at familiarizing the clients with influence able factors causing cardiovascular diseases and at leading the clients towards healthy life style at theoretical and practical level. To meet one of the aim of the research project there was physiotherapist, nutritionist and psycholog also involved in the program. There is an effort and concern to show how nurse can contribute to improvement in cardiological prevention. The existing preliminary results suggest efficiency and contribution, but also the importance of involvement of the nurse in preventive care in the role of educator.
