THE INFLUENCE OF MODERN SCIENTIFIC PARADIGM AND DESIGN TOOLS ON CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURAL TRENDS.
Abstract
Article is a part of a broader research on compounds of formal languages of architecture and design tools used for its creation and a paradigm of architecture valid at the time of its formation. The article focuses on exposure of sources of inspiration in contemporary avant-garde architecture with particular emphasis on the impact of information civilization on the way and on the results of designing. Architecture is created with the use of tools. However, their role in the creative process and influence on the views of architects is not obvious. The last 20 years have brought rapid expansion of computer technology that radically changed the picture of the world. These changes did not omit also the way of creating architecture. The question of whether and what impact on designing architecture have the used design tools still returns. The analysis was conducted by a survey and comparison of characteristic trends of contemporary architecture, with particular emphasis on the relationship between the (object's) result and design tools used in the process of creating the concept of these facilities and sources of inspiration. The study focuses on the causes and the results of this broadly understood change and is to help to indicate directions for further development of architectural tools aimed at designing a concept.
