GRADUATES COMPETENCE AS A RESULT OF PROFESSORS WORK
Abstract
Currently the Russian Federation is getting through higher education modernization process as a part and acceleration factor of innovative country development. One of the aspects of this modernization is updating approaches for measuring the professors work efficiency. The results of professors work have to measured by evaluating students and then graduates competences. Today there isn't any method to deter dependence of professors work results and competence level of students and graduates competences. This fact emphasizes the importance of our research. This article presents the development results of the evaluation system of students and graduates competences according to the system of enlarged indicators. The basis of this method is the indicators, obtained while implementing this system, have to be used for evaluating professors work results. The method includes the evaluation principles and the calculation algorithm. The calculation is supposed to be performed in the following order: dividing the competences into clusters, choosing binary or multilevel scale, calculating students qualification level. The common indicator of students educational results of one group has to correlate with the common indicator of professors qualification who have worked with this academic group for a year. The lack of positive correlation can act as a reason for making administrative decisions like adjusting educational programs, developing correcting measures for getting rid of negative results of students in this academic group, introducing financial incentives for professors, measures for improving professors qualification, reselecting the professors for the faculty for the next semester.
