JEWS AND THEIR ECONOMIC LIFE IMPACT IN WESTERN SIBERIA IN THE SECOND MID-TO-LATE XIX CENTURY
Abstract
Siberian Jews occupied their niche in Jewish Sciences long ago. The problems of social adaptation of Judaists in Siberia in XIXth - the beginning of XXth centuries were paid much attention to in scientific papers of XXth – the beginning of XXIth centuries. At the same time particular issues associated with development of the economy of the Jewish community and their place and role in the development of distinct entities in Siberian regional areas were insufficiently examined. The given paper presents the solution of the set problem, i.e. on the basis of materials of various archives and published sources the key features of formation and development of the Jewish community in Western Siberia during the after-reform period.
