Abstract

Background: The study of psychological strategies of network activity and attitudes of student youth towards the Internet is actual and practically significance. Personal characteristics in the network interaction are occurred in the motives of behavior and communication, in the psychologically to the use of electronic technologies, and also in the preference for activities. For most students the Internet is a space in which you can achieve social comfort and have the opportunity to communicate with others and develop your own social network, and also gain a sense of calm and safety. This is achieved through belonging to a virtual social environment. Methods: Authors of this paper have used a survey method. We used the «Questionnaire about the behavior on the Internet» (A.E. Zichkina) to study the psychological strategies of network activity. We used the questionnaire of attitudes in relation to the Internet (R. Davis in the adaptation of E. Gubenko) to study the specificity of attitudes in the aspect of network interaction. The analysis was done using statistical software SPSS 13.0. 22.0 Conclusions: In the Internet space, there are different strategies for user behavior, and their individual and personal characteristics and target settings are manifested. Understanding these psychological characteristics of students is important for conducting work in the field of psychological education and prevention of Internet addiction, for psychological counseling, and for organizing interaction in a virtual educational environment.
