Abstract

Nowadays it has become really difficult to separate the frontiers between the „real” and the „virtual”. We live in a world where millions of images are in the middle between vision and perception. Often we are caught by images built with perspective effects and even better on the anamorphosis. Starting the geometric-projecting bases of anamorphosis in all its aspects, the research studies and analyzes its applications in modern art, presenting all the possible techniques, traditional and innovative. But especially all we want to put the focus on a new development of anamorphosis which takes advantage of modern technology, to mention the domain of sculpture and that of design. Also because now is possible to surmount certain limits imposed by traditional techniques.
