THE WORKS OF N. HARNONCOURT: THE DYNAMICS OF STYLE ON THE EXAMPLE OF PERFORMANCES OF MOZART'S OPERA "LA CLEMENZA DI TITO" PERIOD OF THE LATE XX C. AN
Abstract
The present research aims to study the works of outstanding modern conductor N. Harnoncourt during the period of the late XX c. and early XXI c. for example of productions of the opera wrote by Mozart "La Clemenza di Tito" and identify basic principles and regularities of the dynamics of the style. The methodology of the study was the comparative method, that enabled a comparative historical and cultural analysis of the phenomena of Opera art of modern time. N. Harnoncourt in his work the of Mozart's Opera "La Clemenza di Tito" in the last decade of the twentieth century outlined an innovative approach to the interpretation of the intent of the composer, such as identification of prerequisites for meaningful expansion of the field of the theory of Opera roles. However, in General, the interpretation was sustained in the traditions of the genre. Staging of the same Opera in the early XXI c. different innovative interpretation of the contents. The conductor managed to raise global moral issues of today, such as the idea of universal tolerance and forgiveness, which became important in the early XXI c. An innovative approach was performed musical equipment, and facilities design. Comparative analysis of two Opera productions helped to identify significant changes in the conductor's style, a fundamental principle which is the authentic approach to performing music of the XVIII c. Further study of the work of the great conductor will reveal new regularities and principles in the interpretation of the music of past centuries, which will help to justify an innovative approach to the reading of the Opera text as a phenomenon reflecting in the art of the socio-cultural context of modern society.
