FORMATION OF THE SOCIAL AND HUMANITARIAN COMPETENCES IN DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL MEDIUM: PROBLEMS AND DECISION WAYS
Abstract
Application of modern information and computer technologies in the educational activity has become in the standard practice. Many educational institutions have developed and apply in the learning process electronic libraries. International educational platforms are established and functioning. Knowledge of students is checked with the help of computer-based testing. But despite achievements of technological character, we can point to some serious problems, that are produced by a wide spread of e-learning systems in educational practice. We have the grounds to interpret these problems as a deformation of the social and humanitarian competences of students associated with the change in the practices the educational activity on the basis of information technologies. In this article, through the understanding of the educational activities on the basis of the category of "interaction" is carried the philosophical and methodological analysis of the application of IT-technologies in educational process. The authors present the interpretation of the results of empirical research - a survey conducted among the students of Saint Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO University). The philosophical-anthropological dimension of the problem connected with application of IT-technologies, should be understood as a problem of "alienation." In the conclusion authors represent constructive recommendations for the development and application learning medium that promote of socio-humanitarian competences.
