PARADIGMATIC RELATIONS OF LEXEMES WITH THE MEANING "MORALITY" IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE
Abstract
In modern society, the trend toward the spiritual impoverishment of a person, indifference, lies is firmly established. Meanwhile, it is well known the word has a moral nature. As a consequence, the study of language units with the projection on the moral principle is associated with the idea of the necessity of strengthening the spiritual foundations of the modern person, of a native speaker. Language, in turn, determines a person belonging to a particular national culture, which is reflecting his mental and moral characteristics. The culture verbalizes in the language and accumulates key categories (concepts), representing them in a symbolic incarnation. These key concepts determine the language picture of the writer, being realized in the artistic continuum of the texts of his works, so the study of the ways of verbalization of category of "morality" based on the texts of works of Russian writers can help to clarify the ideas about the basic elements of the language world picture of the iconic representatives of the Russian linguistic culture. The category of "morality" and mechanisms of its descriptions have always been the subject of scientific papers in psychology, philosophy and other sciences. Currently, the study of "morality" and its representation in language is becoming popular in linguistics. This article discusses verbalization of the category of “morality” by means of nouns and their paradigm relationships in the Russian language.
