Abstract

System comprise Elements, relationships, and purposes. Precisely because of the complexity of the system, when we solve complex problems, if we use simple thinking, the result will not be satisfactory. Therefore, systematic thinking is a better way of solving complex problems. As Stefan Moritz said, “Service Design is not a new specialist design discipline. It is a new multi-disciplinary platform of expertise”, service design is a complex platform. In order to create a systematic concept or service, the service designers should use some new methods. In China, the using of sharing economy is increasing, especially for the travel service design. From October 1st to 7th, the city's 163 scenic spots received 12.67 million tourists, an increase of 9% compared with the same period last year. Among the 12.67 million people, the number of visitors to the zoo is the highest. Therefore, providing better service design for zoo visitors will significantly enhance the tourist experience of Beijing tourists. The purpose of this research to use the systematic thinking to provide suitable service design solutions for the Beijing Zoo, and has achieved good research results. In this research, it can be seen that the main tourists in the park are from families with children. These families may be parents with children, or grandparents with grandchildren. The needs of these families are the focus of this study, and is also a different place from the current related service design.
