Abstract

The national program ”milk and croissant” addresses both pre-school and elementary and secondary school pupils, through each pupil offers a milk or dairy product in quantities of 200 ml and bakery products in packages of 80 g/unit. Through this scientific approach, we intend to determine how milk and dairy products influence this program, finding that the majority of pupils (71.25%) surveyed said the program did not influence their behavior on the frequency with which they consume milk or dairy products, and a small percentage (28.75%) said that habits regarding the frequency with which they consume milk or dairy products were influenced, even if these products are distributed to them daily free of charge. The great majority of respondents, meaning 91.25% said they are consumers of milk and dairy products, of which 84 pupils prefer milk with a percent of 3.5% fat content, 114 pupils said they consume milk with a percent of 1.5% fat content of and only 21 of them nominate the milk with 0.1% fat content as being preferred.
