The first period of Estonian independence lasted for 22 years, beginning in 1918. Starting from 1940, the Republic of Estonia was occupied by the Soviet Union for fifty years. Our case study examines the activities of Baptists in the Estonian parliament during this period from the viewpoint of ethics and sustainability. Content analysis was used as a qualitative research method.
