Ethical education in Slovakia is one of the youngest school subjects in state curriculum. Authors of Slovak ethical education are Spain psychologist R. R. Olivar and Slovak educator Ladislav Lencz. Ethical education became part of the state curriculum for secondary education in 1993 and for primary education in 2004.
