Transdiscursive communication between an expert and nonexpert presupposes processes of special knowledge transfer and acquisition. Asymmetrical levels of communicants' knowledge cause ambiguity in term conceptualization during communication. This paper introduces direct metaphor as an efficient linguistic tool for term disambiguation and leads to improving transdiscursive knowledge communication.
