One of the indexes to the health of any economy is the performance of the companies operating within it. An analysis of health and the rate of recovery after the global crisis of the EU Member States' economies is conducted by the authors of the article by studying indicators such as turnover, gross value added, the share of wages in value added. The study concerns the level of indicators for the period 2008-2013 for EU 28, highlighting the situation of Romania and Bulgaria.
