PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF AGRO-TOURISM IN THE REGIONAL ECONOMY

Abstract

In the current climate of decreasing reserves of mineral resources, reducing the effectiveness of the fuel and energy complex and a number of other industries there is an urgent need for a clear definition of the priorities of regional development, to search and find the peculiar "growth points", the optimal organizational and economic solutions, who would play the role of locomotive in the output of the regional economy on the path of stability and sustainable development. Acting on these "poles of growth", you can control the formation and development of individual sectors and ensure multiplicative positive effect in the regional economy as a whole. As one of the promising areas of economic growth in rural areas should consider the development of agro-tourism. This sector of the tourism industry is focused on the use of natural, cultural, historical and other resources of the countryside and its specificity to create an integrated tourism product. Given the resource-sparing and recovery orientation, the activity is considered as a promising direction of development of tourism in the regions of the Russian Federation. Given that, based on the methods of comparative analysis, abstraction, synthesis, the principles of comprehensive and systematic approaches in the article foreign experience of implementing various models of agro-tourism, defined conditions and factors of its use in the modern economy. Based on the results of studies of the development of agro-tourism in the Russian regions, identify opportunities to enhance the functioning of territorial entities through the active use of the unique natural and climatic conditions in the process of formation and implementation of specific directions of development of rural tourism business. At the same time, as stated in the analysis, only the transition to the formation of a self-developing and distinctive socio-ecological-economic territorial system will contribute to the achievement of self-sufficiency criteria for regional development.
