ASPECTS ON COMPARING THE PLANTAR INDICATORS OF YOUNGSTERS WITH DEFICIENT POSTURE WITH PLANTAR INDICATORS OF HEALTHY YOUNGSTERS
Abstract
The analysis of stepping qualifies within the current scope of biomechanical researches that complete the set of investigations concerning the posture deficiency prophylaxis and recovery. This paper aims to compare the main stepping indicators of students with deficient posture with those of healthy students, bringing additional impartial information on the posture assessment. To reach such target, a research was carried out during the academic year 2016-2017, in which students diagnosed with deficient posture and healthy students participated. The variables on which relied the research are: the anthropometrical measurements (mass, height, Body Mass Index), the stepping indicators (contact area, plantar pressure, maximum force) obtained based on the computerized analysis, by using the PedarX System. The results obtained have certified that the mass, due to the spine alignment disorder, present in case of posture deficiencies, is unequally allocated on the lower limbs, which adversely affects the stepping. This research is aimed to objectify the main stepping indicators, by using the Pedar X System.
