Abstract

1) Background: Inclusive education in the Czech Republic has been officially in practice since September 2016, when the new School Act was approved. Available Czech literature associated with this topic usually focuses on legislative support, qualification of educators, opinions of teachers or parents, but the pupils themselves rarely become a subject of qualitative research. The aim of this literature review is to analyse foreign sources to find important research materials gained in environments with longer tradition and richer experience with inclusive education. Such articles can contain valuable themes and findings for other research steps in this area. Final findings and conclusions can eventually provide background materials that can avoid unnecessary mistakes and enrich the educational process in Czech conditions. 2) Methods: A search of the current literature was conducted by using a keyword process in following databases: EBSCO, Google Scholar, JIB, ProQuest, Science Direct, Springer Link, Theses and Library UPOL. The publication time of the studies that were included was restricted between January 2012 and 1st March, 2018. 3) Results: Forty-three articles met predetermined requirements and finally four texts fully met author´s criteria, however the number was limited by availability to the author. 4) Conclusions: To the author's knowledge, the number of materials dealing with qualitative research based on the personal inclusive experience of learners with physical disabilities educated in mainstream schools is rather rare even in foreign countries and whereas such findings are valuable for other research and work of the author of this text, other research in this field could be beneficial.
