QUALITY AND LOGISTICS IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

Abstract

Quality management and logistics processes in an enterprise should be closely related. The area of quality management and logistics processes must penetrate each other, co-exist. Their cooperation enables the company to achieve the organization's goals effectively, attract new customers and build a competitive advantage in the market. In the process of quality management in logistics, an important area is to prepare and constantly monitor the system of logistics implementation of customer service. The purpose of the paper is to identify and analyze the issues of quality and logistics on the basis of referenced interpretations in the theory of business management. In particular, the areas of quality assurance processes in enterprise logistics, quality and logistics efficiency, logistic quality of customer service and quality in logistics and business strategies were considered. With regard to the purpose of the study the thesis was adopted that the related areas of quality and logistics in business management can be a source of acquiring new customers and building a competitive advantage on the market. The research method used in the paper is the analysis of the national and foreign literature of the subject, mainly coherent publications and scientific articles.
