Abstract

Management of the export potential of the machine building enterprise development is the system integrating instrument aimed at uniting all tools of creating the export potential into one unity and providing the achievement of the set goals of the enterprise. The authors argue that the value of the export potential of the company characterizes the competitive opportunities of enterprise in the international market. Moreover, the level of export potential of the machine-building enterprises is to be high enough to satisfy the interests of the owners, investors and company personnel. The aim of the article is to study the potential of machine-building plants planning to launch their products to the international markets and management relations arising in the process of formation and development of the export potential of machine-building enterprises. The authors have identified three standard options of strategic development of machine building enterprise and propose a set of tools that correspond each of these strategies. Standard enterprise development strategies are analyzed to identify key features of the export potential for each strategy. The study proposes using a variety of management tools to support export potential of enterprises with different development strategies. Development of the export potential of the enterprise is based not only on increasing sales of a particular type of product; it is also inextricably linked with the possibility in the near future to enter the markets of other countries.
