THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY IN TOUR ITINERARIES
Abstract
The study analyzes the functioning of the hospitality industry in the structure of working tourist routes in the regions of Russia. The range of problems that determine the quality of hotel service, which is provided to guests, located on the tourist route. The institutional conditions that affect the market of hotel services, as well as services of other means of accommodation. The study determined that the low level of service in hotels is determined by the structure of demand from tourists and tour operators who create tourist excursion projects. It is determined that the hospitality industry is a passive operator in the overall chain of tourism services. The specificity of the Russian regions, their remoteness from each other, and the level of prices should become limiting conditions in which hoteliers could develop. The necessity of the hospitality market representative to actively create their own tourist excursion routes, actively interact with tour operators is substantiated.
