DEVELOPING TOLERANCE IN ETHICS EDUCATION
Abstract
The importance of tolerance is increasing in the globalised and multicultural world. Tolerance, like any other virtue, requires the correct understanding and the correct extent. Poorly perceived tolerance ceases to be a virtue. In this paper, the author addresses the definition of tolerance and methods for developing tolerance in ethics education lessons, mainly in relation to other ethnics, cultures and religions.
