INFORMATION OVERLOAD AS A FACTOR OF STRESS FOR STUDENTS
Abstract
The results of sociological research in the student's environment of the provincial Russian higher education institutions are the basis of this article. As stress symptomatology for a self-assessment the behavioural, intellectual, physiological and emotional forms of manifestation of a stress, which are traditionally used in stress psychology, were used. Authors show that manifestations of information overloads of students correlates with stress symptomatology, especially strongly it becomes apparent in an emotional and physiological component of a stress. But if physiologically the organism of students still copes with consequences of information overloads, manifestation of the stressful phenomena is already observed in the emotional component.
