TESTING OF EXPLOSIVE POWER OF THE LOWER BODY OF OLDER SCHOOL GIRLS
Abstract
The aim of the paper is to determine the level of the lower body explosive power of older school girls. Regular population as well as girls playing various sports such as football, volleyball and handball were tested. The measurements were made in November 2017. The monitored parameters were the vertical jump T-flight length and the height of the vertical jump in the three tests. Diagnosis was performed using the Optogait jump ergometer. Basic statistical characteristics were used for data processing. In the final part of the paper, the authors state the difference in the level of explosive power of the lower body of the older school girls among regular population as well as various kinds of sports. The obtained measurements will serve for further monitoring as well as assessing the effectiveness of the training programs of individual sports.
