VALUE OF EXPLICIT KNOWLEDGE IN KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY
Abstract
Knowledge society has been identified by Academician Blazej as one of the pillars of the 21st century. Explicit knowledge increases and its use in terms of productivity should be meaningful. On the other hand, there there must be no mistake, in which bizarre opinions are announced, such as the inability to set general education or inability of any discipline to be integrated into education. We also believe that cognition, knowledge and natural desire of a man to know are the alpha and omega of knowledge society.The situation of postmodern culture in context of knowledge status in the society was already described by Jean Francois Lyotard in his work The Postmodern Condition. He argues that changes in the status of knowledge are related to post-industrial era in terms of society and postmodern era of culture. He says the modern cultural thought ceases to be an end in itself, the purpose is no longer predominantly knowledge, but takes on the form of exchange-value. Science is linked to politics and production capacity of states.
