Abstract

This article deals with history of development of cultural landscape in yakut village. Yakut village as a cultural space of modern Yakutia appears as a result of the policy of village resettlement in the middle of the twentieth century, and while preserving the traditional elements of the Yakut cultural landscape does not change to this day. Highlighting the features of the cultural landscape at the beginning of the XXI century, we notice the emergence of neopaganic religious buildings in the village – Archy Dyete. New elements of everyday culture showing the renewal of the traditional lifestyle, which in turn reflect not only in the growth of ethnic consciousness, but also in special process-glocalization. This process will be revealed through the view on the traditional yakut national festival - Yisyiakh. This holiday changed in different periods since the mid-twentieth century to the present day, when was development of the yakut rural landscape. The festival maintains core – a summer rite of drinking kumis(ayakhtutuu), traditional sports competition and national round dance osuokhay. Modern Yakuts have preserved the main elements of the celebration, but under the pressure of cultural globalization, we can trace the transformation of forms of celebration, clothing, jewelry, religious buildings, and places of celebration. Modern technologies have joined the ancient tradition because of this transformation. This article examines Yisyiakh festival in Suntarskiy and Verchneviluysk districts. Main points of view are form of celebration, traditional clothing, modern jewelry of yakuts, and traditional event location of festival. All this in the compartment will reveal to us the modern cultural landscape of the Yakut village; also it will reveal the socio-cultural environment of the Yakut village.
