The top pioneering companies emphasise years of organizational performance and are uniquely qualified to inspire and enhance innovation, as they are central to core values and creative leadership. The objective of this paper is to present the prominence of the top Global 100 Companies and examine the major research question “How could top companies adapt to change to maintain their position and critically outperform their competitors?” Innovative strategies have vital impacts on the business performance of a competitive corporation and highlight the role of strategic innovations that are flexible and adaptable to dynamic sustainability. Therefore, organisational merit will be achieved by companies which can react quickly to new market conditions, customer needs and constantly look for creative and original solutions. The methodology used incorporates empirical research based on qualitative methods, outlining the economic outlook relying on the OECD database and analysed in a case study to imply successful business models determining the necessity for visionary leadership strategies. The results show the positive outcomes of the Top Global 100 Companies, as well as present their successful strategies giving evidence how they could maintain their position with minimal loss during the COVID-19 crisis and the lessons that we can conclude from their innovative principles.
