PROSPECTS OF HUMAN BEING AND TECHNOLOGICAL TURN OF MODERN SCIENCE
Abstract
The article is aimed at the research of the modern human being in the conditions of rapidly developing high technologies. In present period the philosophy has to consider two very significant factors. The first factor is challenges of a modern technogenic civilization and rapidly developing technologies; the second - a non-equilibrium and unstable state of the contemporary world. The principal openness of the future requires a new methodological strategy. From the point of view of methodological approach, the search and decision-making under the conditions of uncertainty is carried out through heuristic methods. However, it has become clear that scientific prediction or forecast is to enable us to avoid large-scale negative consequences of the global technological development. The analysis of the first tendency shows that modern technologies are viewed as В«effectively operating forcesВ». They provide permanent renewability, thereby causing instability and variability. At the same time the analysis shows that human nature is undergoing transformations due to penetration of positive and negative trends of nano-, bio-, info- and cognitive technologies in all spheres of lifeworld. The second tendency, which indicates the non-equilibrium unstable condition of the modern world, raises questions about models of the future. The scenarios of the future are connected with the acceptance of instability, alternativeness, social entropy and risks. The problem of ontological uncertainty happens to be in the focus of attention. It can hardly be denied that the human being in the contemporary world is closely connected with the modern techno-scientific civilization. Modern technologies affect the human being and thus reconstruct the consciousness and the nature of man. There's a new reality within which technological turn of science is actively demonstrated. The modern scientific worldview comprises the sum of technologies which determine the world itself. Bud the very fast pace of technological development is accompanied by a very low level of socio-humanistic analysis and conceptual reflection with regard to negative consequences and risks for the human life.
