VARIOUS APPROACHES ON CROSS-FUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT
Abstract
The present paper reflects the concept of cross-functional management, with its multiple theoretical and practical approaches. Cross-functionality is an actual issue, many enterprises trying to encourage this organization form in order to support their innovation and development activities. Although the cross-functional management has specific features, many people are identifying it with the project management or with the hierarchical revised management. However, the cross-functional management implies to take into account the opinions of all persons that could offer a correct solution for the enterprise development. The purpose of the present study is to show the complexity of the cross-functional management concept, to describe specific situations for its application and to emphasize its effectiveness for modern enterprises' positive evolution.
