THE STRATEGY OF LABOUR PRODUCTIVITY GROWTH IN POLAND IN THE LIGHT OF THE CHALLENGES OF THE INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY
Abstract
The article presents the essence and importance of labour productivity, which is the primary indicator for the assessment of the competitiveness of countries in the international market. The aim of the work is the analysis and evaluation of labour productivity in Poland against the background of the countries of the European Union and international statistics. The results of the research and analysis presented concern activities and courses of action within the framework of the Polish labour productivity growth strategy to 2030. The work contains conclusions and recommendations for economic policy regarding labour productivity in Poland. It is important, both in theory and in practice, to understand the mechanisms of development and growth of competitiveness in the Polish economy in the area of labour productivity. The increase in resource productivity in the economy is determined by the quality of entrepreneurship, the scale of innovation, the development of infrastructure, including information-telecommunications technologies, and the development of human resources.
