IDENTIFYING PATTERNS OF LEGITIMATION OF RELIGIOUS EXTREMISM IN THE POST-SECULAR SOCIETY

Abstract

Over the last ten years the variations of religious extremism has been increased sufficiently. Taking into view the controversial nature of the concept content and the difficulty of its adequate use there is a necessity to study the reasons for this affairs state. The reason for the study was the official announcement of the “yellow level” introduction because of the terrorism on the territory of Kazakhstan and enhancement of the diversity of forms of its manifestation in Russia. A group of researchers believes that religious extremism in all its diversity poses a real threat to the security of states and their citizens, because of different transformations, which can possibly be the reason of changes in existing social order. In these circumstances, the development of a common vision, forming a dignified and understanding demanded in order to organize the security of citizens, protect the young generation from aggressive forms of propaganda of extremist ideas. The scientific legitimacy use of the term "religious extremism" has, paradoxically, presented in the online space, and is seen as a means of propaganda of religious intolerance, the spread of beliefs with radical ideas as a means of children and young people involvement into illegal activities. The methodological tool of research is a technique developed by the authors of the sociological survey (questionnaire). The initiative group of researchers conducted a survey of first and second year students of leading higher educational institutions of Almaty, Kazakhstan and Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation on the problems associated with various forms of manifestations of religious extremism. The results of the survey confirm the need to improve the preventive and educational activities in higher educational institutions, due to it affects the state of crimes in the direction of religious extremism. During the course of the study the results were achieved, which allow to understand the current attitude to the religious extremism in Republic of Kazakhstan and Russian Federation. The obtained data allowed fixing the features of extremist ideas propaganda. A group of researchers have developed proposals to prevent the formation of extremist factors and to cease the development in social networks and youth environment.
