TRANSFORMATION OF SPANISH BANKING SECTOR

Abstract

The following research consists of introduction, three chapters, with subsequent parts,and the conclusion. The aim of the research is to analyze the transformation process of Spanish banking sector after the financial crisis in 2008. Author examines a hypothesis that Spanish banking sector plays a significant role in Spanish national economic advancement. Banking sector had been substantially transforming during the economic recession, and now it serves as the prerequisite for State economic advancement in post crisis period. The topic of research is consequential by the reason of examination of the actual economic challenges for various countries of European Community as well as for Russian Federation. The following research studies the process of adaptation of Spanish banking system to new economic environment. Article's conclusions are applicable to various countries, and therefore verify the importance of this research. This research analyzes specific steps taken by Spanish national government to overcome economic difficulties faced by the country whereas the conclusion maintains the points regarding efficiency of the measures employed. This research uses the following scientific methods: learning treatise examination and analysis (e.g. monographs, dissertations, articles, internet resources) in Russian, English and Spanish languages, systematic approach, methods of analysis and synthesis of the dialectical method as well as processing of statistics data.
