Abstract

Continuous technical progress, nature being constantly enslaved by human, industrialization, the Earth's drastically changed surface have caused a global ecological crisis. Among the primary global environmental problems there is environmental pollution, water pollution with industrial, agricultural and domestic waste, soil degradation, deforestation, loss of biodiversity. The planet overpopulation leads to unsustainable use of natural resources and their depletion. Most methods of producing energy cause varying degrees of adverse changes in the environment. A man feels all these manifestations, firstly, through the climate change and climate catastrophes. Climate catastrophes can be defined as the cost of economic damage caused by climate-related disasters, i.e. by the processes of long-lived /meso-macro-scale processes (in the range from intra-seasonal to multi-decadal climate variability). The paper examines the human activitiesВ’ influencing the changes in the natural environment, activities which lead to climate disasters. The goal of the research is to build a model of climate disastersВ’ change caused by human activitiesВ’ factors.
