ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN CRIME PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Abstract

The future in jurisprudence, including crime prevention and control, is increasingly marked by the development and use of new technologies. Among the before-mentioned developments, quite essential perspectives are attributed to large data systems and artificial intelligence (AI). The use of artificial intelligence in crime control comprises organizational, technological and legal aspects.Artificial intelligence possesses selfdevelopment capacities whose evolutionary trend might be difficult to prognose and, probably, even to control and limit it. Sufficiently high use of artificial intelligence is encountered in criminal structures as well, which might be related to scrupulous distribution of proceeds of crime and their further legalization, new and innovative logistic solution of drug smuggling, planning and implementation of terroristic acts. Criminological approach deals with modeling of legal system and criminogenic processes by which it is possible to describe the present developmental state of artificial intelligence, as well as to recognize the ways how to explore an appropriate technology and processes for the future perspectives of the development.
