PARTICIPATION OF A SUBJECT IN THE PROCESS OF COMMUNICATIVE AND DISCURSIVE EXCHANGE AS A CONDITION OF HIS TRUE IDENTITYВ’S FORMATION

Abstract

The authors explore the problem of identity as a result of the interaction of subjects in the process of communication. The authors allocate various types of identity depending on the historic stage of the existence of the human community. They distinguish ethnic identity, religious identity, linguistic identity, national identity, cultural identity. The authors select such form of identity as transcendental identity and consider it to be the ultimate form of identity and the most significant on a contemporary social-civilizational stage. The authors conclude that in order to determine the identity of the subject on a contemporary stage itВ’s necessary for him to take an active part in a communication. Rethinking of a communicative reality, approval of its new structure is a condition for development of cultural pluralism. And also itВ’s a key to determine a true identity of the subject. A modern man can have several identities that can compete with each other. A modern manВ’s identity is also in crisis now, it is in the process of changing. A real identity of a subject can be defined only as a result of his participation in cultural and communicative processes. Rethinking of a communicative reality and approval of its new structure is a condition for development of cultural pluralism.
