MR SCHUMPETERВ’S CREATIVE DESTRUCTION
Abstract
The basic reasons of destruction of capitalism dealt with in this article on samples of K.MarxВ’s, W.SombartВ’s, P.SorokinВ’s, J. SchumpeterВ’s and other economistВ’s texts: (1) the actions of the proletariat, the problems of capital accumulation, flow of economic resources (Karl Marx), (2) the anthropological foundation (Werner Sombart), (3) withering away of the entrepreneur function, destruction of the institutional structure and the social base of capitalism, decrease of economic stimulus to the labour (Josef Schumpeter), (4) qualitative changes (Pitirim Sorokin). The author analyzes of more particular features of the capitalism changing and the bureaucratization of intellectuals, its В«anthropological foundationВ». The paper also proves the effect of internal and external factors on the appearance of a hostile atmosphere to capitalism. I discuss the implications of an authorВ’s approaches for understanding the transformation of capitalism to socialism. The two kinds of special creative destruction factors dealt with in this paper. First, the hostility to capitalism on the part of intellectuals which are the product of capitalism and its liberties. Second, the withering away of the entrepreneur function as a result of methods when innovations become routine. The participation of intellectuals in creative destruction is not in vain. They really destroyed capitalism but at the level of concept suggesting the different terms, В«information societyВ», В«postindustrial societyВ», В«postmodernismВ». At the same time the entrepreneur function is not withered, and the capitalism in this sense is still alive.
