Abstract

The article touches upon one of the approaches to the solution of the problem of stable eco-economic development due to the implementation of the health risk concept. The methods of risk management allow us to take managerial decisions aimed at reduction of anthropogenic impact on the environment, providing relevant health care effects and not causing significant decrease of economic efficiency of business activities. The authors developed an assessment algorithm for health risks caused by industrial emissions. The algorithm takes into account a population quality value while risk ranking, which provides the person in charge some options to choose top priority measures to minimize risk levels. The article also describes the approach to ranking of non-cancer causing risks, arisen due to the environment impact on public health.
