FACTORS DETERMINING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF YOUNG SCIENTISTSВ’ SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN THE LIGHT OF A SURVEY

Abstract

The effectiveness of scientific research belongs to the categories that are difficult to measure. Its assessment is generally subjective and based on various criteria. In the paper it is assumed that the effectiveness of scientific research is determined by a number of publication as well as the speed of commencing and concluding the doctoral conferment procedure. The effectiveness of scientific research is affected by many factors. The authors assumed that the most important ones is the knowledge of methodological basis of research. A significant influence on the effectiveness of scientific research also has acting in a planned and organized way, according to the procedure selected, using an appropriate research procedure. Moreover, it is important to adjust the subsequent steps of the research process to legal standards. Finally, a proper financing source is required for effective scientific research. In order to indicate the influence of the factors selected on the effectiveness of scientific research, the Authors conducted a survey. The purpose of research was to examine the influence of four groups of factors (methodological, legal, organizational, financial) on the effectiveness of research process.
