ASPECTS OF WORK IN THE FIELD HOSPITAL OF THE ARMY OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC
Abstract
Czech Republic is a member of NATO since 1999. The Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, in its 2015 framework document entitled 2030 Long-term Outlook for Defence, confirmed the political-military ambitions of the Czech Republic, where one of the priorities was the fulfilment of the obligations arising from NATO membership. These requirements include healthcare requirements. Military medicine has a long tradition and czech military healthcare service is a very important part of many foreign military missions. The first deployment of Czech field hospital was in 1999, in Albania and Turkey. Field hospitals are based on a modular system with an emphasis on the autonomy of individual components. They use the combined tents and containers system to develop. All these elements are solved with the possibility of interconnection into functional units that can work independently. This article describes principles and aspects of medics and nurses work in field hospital of Army of the Czech Republic, during real missions.
