SMS INNOVATION IN HEALTHCARE
Abstract
The research aim is to create an innovative concept which includes different technologies helping students to cope with the difficulties connected with healthy nutrition. Nutrition of a student in such an intense way of life is a problem of many universities including the Tomsk Polytechnic University. The problem is not just in price. Students usually do not have time for lunch because of the small breaks between classes and long lines in canteens. And if the student takes homemade food with him/her, it can quickly cool down which also does not bring satisfaction. To reach our objective we studied theoretical material on the topic of students healthcare, conducted surveys of our target audience and tested our innovative concept in a number of experiments. The findings we obtained after our research and experiments proved the urgent need for implementation of some innovative devices providing healthy nutrition. As a result we generated the idea of Smart Meal Shell (SMS) container that allows students to keep their food healthy with one SMS message in their busy lives. The implementation of this idea will allow many people discover the world of proper nutrition, eat high-quality hot food, in spite of the limiting factors dictated by time.
