EVALUATION OF THE MARKET POTENTIAL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-TECH INDUSTRIES ON THE BASIS OF ALUMINIUM
Abstract
Nowadays, many countries of the world are characterized by the change of conceptual approaches to the management of spatial development of territories and the search for new sources of economic growth. As a rule, in the economy of resource regions most of the perspective technologies are developed and implemented in the resource sector. Such technologies have unique feature – a wide range of secondary products that can be transformed into independent innovative products, services, technologies, management models for other sectors of economy. On the basis of these technologies the potential for the development of new markets of demand for innovative solutions and intellectual resources is formed. The aim of the research is to substantiate a new approach to the diagnostics of promising technologies for the innovative development of the region. To achieve the aim we carried out the analysis of modern tendencies, factors and problems of the development of non-ferrous metallurgy in Russia and in the world. It is proved that the prospects for the development of non-ferrous metallurgy in Russia and Krasnoyarsk krai are connected with the expansion of production of new types of consumer products with the creation of new high-tech industries for deep processing of aluminum. The model of technological development of non-ferrous metallurgy of Krasnoyarsk krai was designed. This model allows to develop three scenarios: «niche leadership» based on the import of technologies for existing and new sectors of the economy; «local technological competitiveness» based on the creation of parent technologies through local research and development; «international technological competitiveness» based on the results of unique research and technological development in the form of breakthrough technologies, technologies-integrators, technologies of «knowledge economy». The potential for the development of demand for innovative products is based on a sixstage and multi-criteria evaluation of the estimated technology, including compliance with perspective and critical technologies at the national level; priorities and targets for the development of the resource region. The paper presents the results of testing the proposed methodology to evaluate the market potential for the development of high-tech industries for aluminum processing in the Krasnoyarsk krai
